
Successful Denim Drive with Goodwill, Henrico County Public Schools and Thalhimer | More than 2,300 Denim Items Collected
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA:
Goodwill of Central Virginia, Henrico County Public Schools, and Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered in April for a successful Denim Drive. The program ran throughout the month of April with collection bins at Thalhimer’s corporate headquarters, as well as collection events with volunteers from Goodwill at Regency Square on the weekends of April 16th/17th and April 23rd/24th. More than 2,300 denim items were collected. An awards ceremony to recognize the schools that contributed the most denim was held at Regency Square on April 30th. Winners were:
Elementary Schools:
1st Place: Echo Lake Elementary School
2nd Place: Raymond B. Pinchbeck Elementary School
3rd Place: Ridge Elementary School
Middle Schools:
1st Place: Brookland Middle School
2nd Place: Holman Middle School
3rd: Place: Tuckahoe Middle School
High Schools:
1st Place: Douglas S. Freeman High School
2nd Place: Henrico High School
3rd Place: Mills E. Godwin High School
