
THALHIMER GIVES | ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation for the months of November and December through their Thalhimer Gives program, a company initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving. Through Thalhimer Gives, associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time to local non-profit organizations.
• Donating financially
o Thalhimer associates raised $1,426 for ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation through “Friday Jeans” and the company contributed a $1,000 match for a total donation of $2,426. “Friday Jeans” allows Thalhimer associates to wear jeans every Friday by making a $5 donation to the Thalhimer Gives partner organization.
• Providing much-needed supplies
o Thalhimer associates donated various snacks for ASK’s Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic, as well as a large amount of toys and gifts for ASK’s Treasure Chest and milestone and holiday toy drive.
• Giving generously of their time
o Thalhimer partnered with ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation for three volunteer opportunities, and provided associates paid time off to give back.
Thalhimer associates assisted ASK for their annual November 5K Donut Run by preparing bibs, staging early packet pick-up, sorting and folding participant t-shirts.
Thalhimer associates helped the race check-in process with packet pick-up, walk-up registrations, and handing out bibs and t-shirts for participants of ASK 5K Donut Run.
The Thalhimer team of volunteers helped with sorting and wrapping toys and gifts for ASK’s biggest event of the year, the ASK Holiday Party, with over 450 ASK kids and family members attending.
