THALHIMER GIVES | FETCH A Cure
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with FETCH A Cure for the third quarter of 2020 through their Thalhimer Gives program, a company initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving. Through Thalhimer Gives, associates actively engage in the community by donating financially and giving generously of their time to local non-profit organizations.
• Donating financially
o Thalhimer associates raised $2,724 for FETCH A Cure through “Friday Jeans”. “Friday Jeans” allows Thalhimer associates to wear jeans every Friday by making a $5 donation to the Thalhimer Gives partner organization, along with a company match. Thalhimer also sponsored Bring Your Dog to Work Day, which included an entry fee to benefit FETCH A Cure.
• Giving generously of their time
o Thalhimer partnered with FETCH A Cure for three volunteer opportunities, and provided associates paid time off to give back.
– Thalhimer associates assisted with donor mailing tasks for ‘ask’ letters needed for FETCH’s upcoming Pets on Parade Benefit & Auction.
-Thalhimer associates helped FETCH A Cure prepare for their Holiday Bone Treats, an annual end-of-year campaign to raise awareness for FETCH and pet cancer. We also helped decorate wooden “rein-dogs” used to display their treat bags during the holiday season.
-The Thalhimer team of volunteers assisted with goodie bag preparation for the 2020 Mutt Strut Pet Cancer Awareness Walk on October 4th.
• Providing much-needed supplies
o Thalhimer associates donated various pet supplies including crates, beds, carriers, leashes/collars and treats/snacks.
“FETCH a Cure is sincerely grateful for our partnership with Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer.
