RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, December 31, 2023 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with Fatherhood Foundation of Virginia (FFVa) for the fourth quarter of 2023 through their Thalhimer Gives program, a company-wide initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving. Through Thalhimer Gives, associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time to local non-profit organizations.

• Donating financially
– Thalhimer raised $4,124 for FFVa through Friday Jeans donations. Friday Jeans allows Thalhimer associates to wear jeans every Friday and make a monetary donation to the Thalhimer Gives partner organization, along with a dollar-for-dollar company match.

• Giving generously of their time
– Thalhimer partnered with FFVa for volunteer opportunities throughout the quarter and gave associates paid time off to give back.
– Thalhimer associates painted two offices at FFVa’s headquarter location.
– Thalhimer associates joined the panel to review over 100 applications for the Father Christmas program and narrow it down to twenty five fathers.
– Associates helped FFVa with their signature annual event, Father Christmas, on Thursday, December 14th. Many Thalhimer associates, spanning four different volunteer sessions from 10 am until 9:30 pm assisted with the event, including unloading vehicles full of gifts, organizing them by family, providing support during the actual event, and post-event clean-up.

• Providing much-needed supplies
– Our Richmond associates personally purchased more than $2,400 worth of gifts for a Father Christmas family of four children, and we had the honor of presenting all of the gifts to the family at the event.
– Our Q4 jeans day donations totaled $2,062, and along with our company match, we presented a check for $4,124 to FFVa
