VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Thalhimer’s Virginia Beach office raised $250 for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia & Eastern Shore during the third quarter of 2024, and along with the company match, they presented a check to them for $500.

The Virginia Beach team also volunteered at The Chapel Pantry, which partners with the Foodbank, on September 23rd, packing non-perishable food boxes (produce and frozen meat) for their “Grab and Go” program. The group also unloaded trucks and sorted and stocked food donations in preparation for their weekly food distribution.

The Foodbank’s mission: Since 1981, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, a member of Feeding America™ and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks, has been providing food for people experiencing food insecurity throughout Southeastern Virginia and on the Eastern Shore.
