RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Thalhimer’s Richmond associates had the honor of assisting at Henrico Christmas Mother’s Recipient Shopping Day on December 10th. We served as shopping assistants, guiding individual recipients through the warehouse and helping to select books, clothing, toys, and other items. We also distributed food to each recipient and delivered everything to their vehicles.

Six of our associates served as language interpreters for the shoppers.

About Henrico Christmas Mother
Henrico Christmas Mother (HCM), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1942, provides assistance to low-income families in Henrico County during the holiday season in the form of food, new clothing, books, toys, and other gifts. 40% of program costs are dedicated to fighting hunger relief during the two-week winter break, when youth do not receive subsidized meals. 4,205 individuals were served in 2023.
