$5,735 in Donations Presented to the Organization

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, April 15, 2026 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with The Metropolitan Business League during the first quarter (Q1) of 2026 through its Thalhimer Gives program, a companywide initiative dedicated to community involvement and charitable giving in the markets we serve.

The Metropolitan Business League (The MBL) is a nonprofit, membership-based business association that has supported small business growth and expansion across Virginia for more than 55 years. Serving as a catalyst for entrepreneurship, the organization provides quality training, programs, and resources centered on education and training, procurement opportunities, and access to capital. Through expanded services and strategic partnerships, MBL continues to strengthen its impact as a cornerstone of Virginia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Through Thalhimer Gives, associates engage meaningfully with their communities by contributing financially, donating essential supplies, and giving generously of their time to local nonprofit organizations.

• Financial & In-Kind Support
o Thalhimer donated a total of $5,735 to The Metropolitan Business League in Q1 through associate
donations and a dollar-for-dollar company match.

o Thalhimer associates also donated hundreds of apparel and accessory items for The MBL’s dress for
success program to benefit 8th grade and high school students.

• Volunteer Engagement
o Associates from each of Thalhimer’s service lines participated in a career exploration session with
Richmond Public Schools students, offering a comprehensive look at opportunities within commercial
real estate. Presenters shared insights into career paths across the firm’s business lines, outlined their
goals and objectives, and highlighted transformational projects such as Westhampton Commons and
The Diamond District. The session showcased the wide range of career opportunities available and
how young professionals can make a meaningful impact in the industry.
o Thalhimer Realty Partners hosted a tour of the construction site at the Diamond District
redevelopment project for 8th grade students from Albert Hill Middle Students and their teachers. The
students learned first-hand how the Diamond District Partners are building new underground utilities
and roads that will serve the new neighborhood. The field trip was organized in coordination with
RPS’ Career and Technical Education program.
o Thalhimer volunteered at The MBL’s annual Women in Construction (WIC) Summit in Richmond. Our
team supported the event throughout the day in three shifts, assisting with set-up and registration,
support throughout the morning program, and the networking hour.

Each year, organizations are nominated by Thalhimer associates who are actively involved with a non-profit or passionate about its mission. From these nominations, four charities are selected annually in each of our seven markets, with one featured each fiscal quarter. Associates contribute to these organizations, and at the end of the quarter, Thalhimer matches donations dollar-for-dollar, amplifying the impact for the charity of that quarter.

In 2025, we donated a total of $52,465, collected thousands of supplies, and associates volunteered 788 hours to local charities. To date, Thalhimer Gives has donated more than $395,129 to local charitable organizations, and we remain committed to growing that impact year after year.
