RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Thalhimer and the Richmond Tennis Association (RTA) are excited to host the 33rd annual Thalhimer Challenge—the largest and most anticipated tennis event of the year in greater Richmond.

Come watch as twelve teams—ACAC, Burkwood, Country Club of Virginia, Dominion, Hermitage, Midlothian Athletic Club (MAC), Epic (formerly Midlothian Tennis Club), Raintree, Salisbury, Westwood Club, Willow Oaks, and Woodlake – battle it out for the Championship. The event begins on Thursday, September 17 at 6:00pm at Salisbury Country Club with food trucks, music, and high-level match play. Matches on Friday and Saturday are played at both locations with the finals at Westwood Club on Sunday.

Thalhimer is proud to continue as the title sponsor of this event, supporting the RTA and its mission. The RTA is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing the love of tennis in the greater Richmond area. Beyond the Thalhimer Challenge, the RTA creates pathways for juniors to learn the game, runs tournaments for adults, and helps bring tennis to underserved youth and communities.
