VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA, August 12, 2024 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce the sale of 5801 Lake Wright Drive in Norfolk, Virginia.
WRJ LW, LLC purchased the 47,690 square foot office building from 5801 Lake Wright Drive LLC for $5,400,000 to occupy for their defense contracting business; the property was originally built as the North American Headquarters for Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. In 2001, ZIM expanded to a new headquarters building in Virginia Beach and the new buyer is expanding from a Virginia Beach relocation. The sale represents two major local Hampton Roads employers expanding locally in the post-pandemic environment.
