Virginia Beach, Virginia, November 3, 2026: Our Virginia Beach office held its 13th Annual Pancake Breakfast and Food Drive on November 3, and it was another wonderful success thanks to the generosity and participation of our associates. A special thank you to Kim Weaver and Karolina Breithaupt, who served as our chefs this year. In addition to delicious pancakes, they prepared sausage, bacon, and oatmeal, providing a fantastic breakfast spread for everyone to enjoy.

Through the incredible support of our team, we collected 140 pounds of food and raised $500 in monetary donations. With Thalhimer’s match, we will present a $1,000 check to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, and our food donations will provide 1,116 meals for the Foodbank. Once again, our associates showed up in a big way to support the Hampton Roads community!

ABOUT THALHIMER GIVES
Founded in 2018, Thalhimer Gives is a companywide initiative dedicated to community involvement and charitable giving in the markets we serve. Guided by our mission of Giving Back Through Action, Compassion, and Care, our associates make a meaningful impact in three primary ways:

Action – Volunteering time and energy to support local non-profit organizations, with paid time off to make service possible.

Compassion – Providing essential supplies and resources to meet the immediate needs of our communities.

Care – Contributing financially to causes that matter and amplifying that support through Thalhimer’s dollar-for-dollar match each quarter.

Thalhimer Gives is at the heart of our commitment as a corporate citizen to lead the transformation of the communities where we live, work, and play.

Each year, organizations are nominated by Thalhimer associates who are actively involved with a non-profit or passionate about its mission. From these nominations, four charities are selected annually in each of our seven markets, with one featured each fiscal quarter. Associates contribute to these organizations, and at the end of the quarter, Thalhimer matches donations dollar-for-dollar, amplifying the impact for the charity of that quarter.

In 2025, we donated a total of $52,465, collected thousands of supplies, and associates volunteered 788 hours to local charities. To date, Thalhimer Gives has donated more than $395,129 to local charitable organizations, and we remain committed to growing that impact year
