Charlottesville Associates Build Fence for Visible Records Community Garden | Thalhimer Gives

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA: On Friday, April 4th, our Charlottesville team volunteered through the Building Goodness Foundation (BGF) to build a new fence for the Visible Records community garden!

Our team dug all 50+ holes, set posts, and placed concrete, putting the project ahead of schedule. Thanks to Dominique Norman and Jazmine Mays (commercial property services), Josi Williams (commercial brokerage), Jeremy Merica, Lee Collier, and Travis Tucker (Thalhimer Multifamily/Ivy Garden Apartments) for their hard work! This initial stage of the project was labor intensive and required a lot of heavy lifting, but the Thalhimer crew rose to the task.

About Building Goodness Foundation

We build opportunity. We believe that well-designed, well-constructed, beautiful buildings create opportunities for children, families, and communities.  We are a nonprofit organization that builds and renovates homes, schools, clinics, and community spaces for disadvantaged people, both locally and internationally.

BGF volunteers come to us from the construction industry – they are professional architects, engineers, builders and tradespeople. Together, we build the places where children learn to read, where women deliver babies, where youth discover their talents, and where parents work to support their families.
