Church Property Sells for Salvation Army Location in Newport News
NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIA, February 27, 2026 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce the sale of 14425 Old Courthouse Way in Newport News, Virginia.
The Salvation Army purchased the 18,816 square foot former church property, situated on 4.41 acres, from Hampton Roads Church for $1,800,000 to serve as the primary location for our Virginia Peninsula Command. The facility will continue to be used for Salvation Army church services, social services operations and programs, community events, outreach efforts, and as our main administrative office.
