
Commercial Brokerage Promotions Announced

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT:
Gregg W. Beck has been promoted to senior vice president. Mr. Beck joined Thalhimer in 1997 and has consistently focused on industrial sales and leasing and development land sales in the Richmond metropolitan area.
Amy J. Broderick has been promoted to senior vice president. Ms. Broderick is an integral part of the Thalhimer office leasing team, specializing in landlord representation. She joined Thalhimer’s Richmond office in early 2015 with over ten years of experience in real estate, representing multi-family and mixed-use developers in Virginia, Washington, DC, and Delaware.
Christine M. Kaempfe, CCIM, SIOR has been promoted to senior vice president. Ms. Kaempfe specializes in commercial and office properties with experience in all facets of representation; tenant/landlord and buyer/seller. She has been with Thalhimer’s Hampton Roads office since 2001, and has represented healthcare organizations, local municipalities, multinational companies as well as local business owners/developers and she has been involved in the sales and leasing of over 1,000+ transactions.
Geoffrey W. Poston, CCIM, SIOR has been promoted to senior vice president. Mr. Poston leads Thalhimer’s Hampton Roads Industrial Group, specializing in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of industrial facilities throughout the region. His client list includes Norfolk Marine Company, Norfolk Southern Corporation, East Coast Appliance, and Equus Capital Partners, among others.
William C. Throne, CSCMP, CCIM, SIOR has been promoted to senior vice president. Mr. Throne began in commercial industrial real estate with Cushman & Wakefield in the San Francisco Bay area in 1985 after leaving the U.S. Navy, where he served as an officer and a fighter pilot. He relocated to Hampton Roads in 2003 and is active in the sales and leasing of industrial properties throughout Hampton Roads. Mr. Throne serves as the co-lead for the Cushman & Wakefield Ports and Intermodal Advisory Group. He has specialized experience in port/rail served/supply chain related properties and waterfront facilities. He has sales and leasing experience across the United States.
FIRST VICE PRESIDENT:
David Crawford has been promoted to first vice president. Mr. Crawford has a diverse background in retail leasing and development with more than 22 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He specializes in retail site selection, as well as landlord and tenant representation.
Reilly Marchant has been promoted to first vice president. Mr. Marchant joined Thalhimer’s Richmond office in 2014 and specializes in both tenant and landlord representation with a focus on restaurant and medical tenants in the urban markets of Richmond. He is also experienced in tenant site selection, as well as mixed-use investment sales in the Richmond Metropolitan Area.
Annie O’Connor has been promoted to first vice president. Ms. O’Connor joined Thalhimer’s Retail Services Group in 2018, representing both tenants and landlords, and extensive experience in the restaurant industry.
Wick Smith has been promoted to first vice president. Mr. Smith joined Thalhimer’s Virginia Beach office in July 2015 specializing in retail sales and tenant representation. He works with national and local operators in regional shopping centers, restaurants, and free-standing buildings, with experience in lease negotiations and land sales.
Jenny Stoner has been promoted to first vice president. Ms. Stoner is a commercial brokerage associate in Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Charlottesville office specializing in the leasing and sales of retail and office properties in Charlottesville and surrounding markets. She has been with Thalhimer since 2017.
SENIOR ASSOCIATE:
Karla Knight has been promoted to senior associate. Ms. Knight specializes in office tenant representation and corporate services and has more than eight years of commercial real estate experience. As part of Thalhimer’s Tenant Advisory Group, Ms. Knight helps clients devise and implement long-term strategies designed to reduce costs and optimize the efficiency of their overall real estate footprint.
Wyatt Poats has been promoted to senior associate. Mr. Poats joined Cushman & Wakefield l Thalhimer in 2018 as a sales and leasing associate in retail services and focuses primarily in Western and Southside Virginia
Brett Sain has been promoted to senior associate. Mr. Sain is an integral member of Thalhimer’s Hampton Roads industrial brokerage team. He has successfully represented landlords and tenants within the region through relentless effort and his expert market knowledge. He has been with Thalhimer since 2018, starting in their Commercial Property Services Group before transitioning to Commercial Brokerage.
