Former Self-Help Credit Union Property Sold to Girl Scout Commonwealth Council of Virginia, Inc.

Girl Scouts to relocate from current Willow Lawn location

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, September 13, 2024 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce the sale of 3214 Skipwith Road in Henrico County, Virginia.

Girl Scout Commonwealth Council of Virginia, Inc. purchased the 18,375 square foot building, situated on 3.34 acres, from Self-Help Credit Union for $3,600,000. The Girl Scouts will relocate their current administrative offices and retail center from Willow Lawn to the new location on Skipwith Road. This larger building will allow the Girl Scouts to expand the retail portion of their organization, and also create a collaborative space where Girl Scouts can gather, make friends, have fun, and learn how they can work together to give back to their community.

Will McGoogan of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale negotiations on behalf of the seller; Amy J. Broderick and Kate Hosko, also with Thalhimer, represented the purchaser.
