RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Goodwill of Central Virginia and Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer are partnering with Henrico County Public Schools for a Denim Drive. After collaborating together in 2014 for SUIT UP, a professional clothing drive that collected over 5500 pounds of clothing, both Goodwill and Thalhimer looked for more opportunity to benefit the community; a denim drive in conjunction with Henrico County Schools was the perfect fit.
The program is running throughout the month of April, with collection events scheduled at Regency Square Mall on the weekends of April 16th/17th and April 23rd/24th. Collection bins are available at Regency Square, on the second floor next to the information desk and will be staffed by Goodwill associates to tally the contributions by school.  Upon the conclusion of the drive, Thalhimer will be donating monetary prizes to the top three elementary, middle, and high schools which collect the most denim.  The award ceremony is scheduled for April 30th from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Regency Square. Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer has collection bins at their offices to add to the denim drive.
