RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer announces that John R. August has joined their Project & Development Services Group in their Richmond office as senior project manager. Mr. August will assist Thalhimer’s commercial brokerage team by providing value-added tenant and landlord project services. He will also provide additional capacity for project coordination and execution on the firm’s management portfolio. Lee Warfield, President & CEO, comments “John has a wealth of experience managing all types of construction projects from ground-up construction to tenant improvement projects.  His experience will add value for our clients and will assist with a growing list of Thalhimer Realty Partners projects.  He will be a great addition to our Project Services team as we continue to grow this business line.”

Mr. August is a University of Virginia graduate with a degree in architecture and has over twenty-five years’ experience working in the construction and project management field for retail, multifamily, office, medical, and hospitality facilities.  Prior to joining Thalhimer, Mr. August was with Lincoln Harris as a senior project manager. He has extensive knowledge and experience with site due diligence, test fitting, public approvals, design, FF&E, and construction of ground-up projects as well as tenant improvements and renovations.
