RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, November 15, 2018 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with Relationship Foundation of Virginia for the months of September and October through their Thalhimer Gives company initiative focused on increasing community involvement and charitable giving. Through Thalhimer Gives, associates have the opportunity to actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time to local organizations.

• Donating financially
  • Thalhimer associates raised $1,050 for Relationship Foundation of Virginia through “Friday Jeans” and the company contributed a 100% match for a total donation of $2,050 to Relationship Foundation of Virginia. “Friday Jeans” allows Thalhimer associates to wear jeans every Friday by making a $5 donation to the Thalhimer Gives partner organization.
• Providing much-needed supplies
  • Thalhimer associates donated items for a number of different Relationship Foundation of Virginia initiatives:
    • $5 gift cards to coffee shops and restaurants for Boot Camp for New Dads volunteers
    • Packs of 8-1/2”x11” printer paper and 3-ring binders for Boot Camp for New Dads participants
    • Sleeves of golf balls for annual Father-Child Golf Tournament
    • Candy to give out as rewards to Middle and High School students
• Giving generously of their time
  • Thalhimer partnered with Relationship Foundation of Virginia for a unique volunteer opportunity and provided associates paid time off to give back.
    • Office Space Improvement Project – October 17
      • Thalhimer associates volunteered to give Relationship Foundation of Virginia’s Maywill Street office space an interior upgrade by completing a painting project and building shelves. Relationship Foundation of Virginia shares their office space with other 501(c)(3) organizations including U-Turn, PAK, Global Frontier Missions and Team Loaded.
