RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Our Richmond associates embraced the holiday season gift-giving and provided many items requested by Henrico Christmas Mother for their 2024 Distribution Week in December. We delivered all of our donated items to their warehouse and sorted them. We also helped with other tasks such as folding sweatshirts, sorting socks, unloading boxes of hundreds of books that were donated to HCM, and sorting food donations for HCM. About Henrico Christmas Mother
Henrico Christmas Mother (HCM), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1942, provides assistance to low-income families in Henrico County during the holiday season in the form of food, new clothing, books, toys, and other gifts. 40% of program costs are dedicated to fighting hunger relief during the two-week winter break, when youth do not receive subsidized meals. 4,205 individuals were served in 2023.
