Richmond Associates Volunteered with Ronald McDonald House Charities Richmond Packing NICU and School-Age Activity Packs
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Richmond associates from multiple service lines came together in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities by hosting an activity pack assembly event benefiting children and families facing medical challenges. Through the generosity of Thalhimer associates, $1,242.69 was raised in donations to support the initiative and provide supplies for the activity packs. Volunteers packaged 20 NICU baby packs and 20 school-age activity packs filled with brand-new comfort, care, and entertainment items to help fill the time while children are in the hospital or staying at Ronald McDonald House.
The NICU baby packs included essentials such as rattles, pacifiers, board books, baby wipes, and other comforting items, while the school-age packs featured coloring books, crayons, notebooks, sketchbooks, travel games, and creative activities. Through teamwork and generosity, associates assembled meaningful care packages designed to bring comfort, distraction, and moments of joy to families during difficult times. The event was a wonderful example of Thalhimer’s commitment to community engagement and supporting organizations that make a lasting difference.
“Thank you for an amazing event. These are some of the most generous and beautiful bags we have seen! Our families will feel so special. We’re very grateful for all of Thalhimer’s hard work pulling this day together.”
