SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY:  Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer completed a 9,252 square foot lease with Texas Roadhouse in the former Old Country Plaza at 3940 Plank Road in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Texas Roadhouse is a national restaurant operator, based out of Louisville, Kentucky with over 400 locations in 48 states and 2 countries (traded on the NASDAQ as TXRH). This will be Texas Roadhouse’s first location in the Fredericksburg area and 12th in the state. The restaurant will bring approximately 200 new jobs to the area.  Construction has commenced and they plan to be open before the holiday season.  The tenant is making an investment of over $1MM in the complete renovation of the interior and exterior of the space.  The company is famous for hand-cut steaks, made-from-scratch sides, fresh-baked bread, and its lively atmosphere. We are excited about the activity this will create for the property and the great addition to Rt. 3.
