VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA, July 29, 2026 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce the promotion of Karolina Breithaupt to Director of Property Services, Hampton Roads, where she will lead the firm’s commercial property management operations across Virginia Beach, Newport News, and the greater Hampton Roads market.

Ms. Breithaupt brings more than 13 years of commercial property management experience to the role. Since joining Thalhimer in 2025, she has served as Senior Portfolio Manager and most recently Associate Director, overseeing a diverse commercial portfolio from the firm’s Virginia Beach office. Prior to Thalhimer, she spent over 12 years with Colliers in Chicago, advancing from Assistant Property Manager to Senior Property Manager while managing institutional-quality commercial assets in one of the nation’s most competitive markets.

In her new role, Ms. Breithaupt will streamline leadership across the Virginia Beach and Newport News offices, aligning the Hampton Roads team under a single operational structure to strengthen service delivery, deepen client relationships, and support the region’s continued growth.

As part of the restructuring, Thalhimer is also pleased to announce the promotions of Alyssa Dupay to Portfolio Manager and Virginia Stevenson to Assistant Portfolio Manager, recognizing their contributions and expanding career paths within the Hampton Roads team.
