RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, January 26, 2026 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce several promotions within its Commercial Property Services Group, recognizing the outstanding performance, leadership, and contributions of these team members.

Karolina Breithaupt has been promoted to associate director. Ms. Breithaupt joined Thalhimer Commercial Property Services in June 2025 as a senior portfolio manager and is based in their Virginia Beach office. She has more than ten years of experience in commercial property management and joined Thalhimer from Colliers International in Chicago.

Lisa Harris has been promoted to associate director. Ms. Harris joined Thalhimer in September 2025 as part of the transition of commercial property services from Highwoods Properties to Thalhimer. With more than 22 years of experience in commercial real estate, she has a strong background managing diverse portfolios of office, mixed-use, and medical properties. Her foundation in project management enhances her ability to oversee complex capital projects while aligning daily operations with long-term asset objectives.

Kitchel Bunger has been promoted to chief engineer. Mr. Bunger joined Thalhimer in January 2019 as a building engineer and advanced to lead engineer in 2022. Throughout his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in elevating operational excellence and advancing key engineering initiatives. In his new role, Mr. Bunger will oversee strategic engineering operations, lead innovation efforts, and further strengthen Thalhimer’s commitment to delivering best-in-class solutions for clients and partners.

Sarah-Kate Shea has been promoted to portfolio manager. Ms. Shea joined Thalhimer in July 2021 as a property management assistant, supporting more than five million square feet of commercial and association properties. She was promoted to assistant portfolio manager in 2025, where she served as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and clients.

Alex Denisco has been promoted to assistant portfolio manager. Ms. Denisco joined Thalhimer in June 2025 as a Property Management Assistant and has quickly demonstrated strong operational knowledge and a deep commitment to client service. Her previous experience with a local general contractor has been an asset to our management team, providing valuable insight into facility operations and project coordination.
