RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Thalhimer and the Richmond Tennis Association (RTA) are excited to host the 32nd annual Thalhimer Club Challenge this weekend, September 18-21, 2025. Over 1000 players participate in the Club Challenge and many more come out to watch and root on their team. It’s the largest tennis event in the Richmond area. Come on out and watch as twelve teams – ACAC, Burkwood, Country Club of Virginia, Dominion, Hermitage, Midlothian Athletic Club (MAC), Midlothian Tennis Club (MTC), Raintree, Salisbury, Westwood Club, Willow Oaks, and Woodlake – battle it out for the Championship. The event is hosted at two locations; Salisbury Country Club and Westwood Club with the finals at Salisbury on Sunday.

Thalhimer is proud to continue as the title sponsor of this event, supporting the RTA in its mission. The RTA is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing the love of tennis in the greater Richmond area. Beyond the Thalhimer Challenge, the RTA creates pathways for juniors to learn the game, runs tournaments for adults, and helps bring tennis to underserved youth and communities.

This event gives Thalhimer great exposure to the community through the 1000 competitors, their families, and friends, showcasing our commitment to our mission – transforming the communities where we live, work, and play…..tennis!
