Thalhimer Establishes Meaningful Partnership with Ronald McDonald House Richmond | Thalhimer Gives
$5,502 in Donations Presented to the Organization
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, July 20, 2026 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with Ronald McDonald House Richmond during the second quarter (Q2) of 2026 through its Thalhimer Gives program, a companywide initiative dedicated to community involvement and charitable giving in the markets we serve.
Ronald McDonald House Richmond provides all of the comforts of home to families with children receiving care at local area hospitals throughout the Richmond region. Ronald McDonald House Richmond eases the hardship that families caring for a child in the hospital often face, through programs that remove barriers to healthcare and help families ensure the best health outcomes for their child. Through their essential care programs, Ronald McDonald House Richmond keeps families with sick and injured children together and close to the medical care their child needs.
Through Thalhimer Gives, associates engage meaningfully with their communities by contributing financially, donating essential supplies, and giving generously of their time to local nonprofit organizations.
• Financial & In-Kind Support

– Purchasing supplies and assembling 20 NICU Baby Packs and 20 School-Age Activity Packs, providing comfort, distraction, and moments of joy for children and families during challenging times.
– Completing a facility refresh project at the Ronald McDonald House Richmond location. Ten associates revitalized the third-floor common areas by painting hallways and shared spaces, creating a brighter and more welcoming environment for families. Volunteers also enhanced outdoor spaces by weeding, cleaning and refreshing flower beds, assembling a tree box, planting flowers, and completing general grounds maintenance.
– Partnering with Panda Express in June to provide a catered lunch for patients and their families through the in-hospital Ronald McDonald House in the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR). Associates also supported the Hospitality Cart program by delivering snacks, beverages, activities, coffee, and other comfort items to patients and their families.
“We are deeply grateful to the entire Thalhimer organization for their meaningful, hands-on support of Ronald McDonald House Richmond. Their generosity, volunteerism, and advocacy will provide ongoing comfort and care to families with children receiving critical medical treatment,” said Elaina Brennan, Director of Development, Ronald McDonald House Richmond.
