Thalhimer Gives | Book Drive to Benefit the Child Life Zone at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Richmond associates held a Book Drive for the Children’s Hospital of Richmond (CHoR) in March, ultimately collecting 170 books! A group of volunteers organized, removed labels and packed the books. Several members of our leadership team delivered the books to CHoR, stocked the bookshelves, and were given a tour of the impressive Child Life Zone.

About the Children’s Hospital of Richmond
The Children’s Tower, Richmond’s new home for pediatric inpatient, emergency, and trauma care, opened for patients and families on April 30, 2023. In a single year, more than 80,000 children receive care at CHoR, including 395,000+ outpatient visits and 23,700+ emergency room visits. In 2024, CHoR celebrated 10 years of being ranked among the best children’s hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

Through Thalhimer Gives, our associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time, with paid time off, to local non-profit organizations.
