CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA: Saturday, March 8th, was Women Building Goodness Day for the Building Goodness Foundation (BGF) in Charlottesville. Jazmine Mays (property services), Jenny Stoner (commercial brokerage), and Crystal Clements (Thalhimer Multifamily/Ivy Garden Apartments) joined forces with a team of 15+ female volunteers from the Charlottesville area to stain the playground fence that BGF had built last year for C-Street Cooperative Preschool.

Jazmine Mays went above and beyond by volunteering to be the project manager for this BGF event to create the materials list and lead the volunteers on March 8th. Jazmine even reached out to Certapro Painters of Charlottesville (a woman-owned business), who worked with Sherwin Williams to donate all the stains used for the project. Thalhimer provided the paint brushes, rollers, paint cups, and trays. Their team of volunteers was so efficient they finished the scheduled day-long task by lunchtime! The Charlottesville team wanted to give a special thanks to Dominique Norman for arriving early in the morning to help unload the 5-gallon buckets of stain.
