RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, October 17, 2023 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with SOAR365 for the third quarter of 2023 through their Thalhimer Gives program, a company-wide initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving. Through Thalhimer Gives, associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time to local non-profit organizations.
• Donating financially
o Thalhimer associates raised $4,910 for SOAR365 through Friday Jeans donations. Friday Jeans allows Thalhimer associates to wear jeans every Friday and make a monetary donation to the Thalhimer Gives partner organization, along with a dollar-for-dollar company match.

• Giving generously of their time
o Thalhimer partnered with SOAR365 for volunteer opportunities and gave associates paid time off to give back.
– Thalhimer associates volunteered at SOAR365’s Summer Camp Talent show at Camp Baker, helping to make posters and cheer on the talent show participants.
– Thalhimer associates participated in a beautification project at PARK365, helping to weed, mulch, and general clean-up of the Park.
– Thalhimer sourced all the ‘school supply type’ contents for activity kits and assembled over 90 kits to be used for SOAR365’s Youth Services and Adult Day Support Programs.
– We volunteered for a second beautification project at Camp Baker, helping SOAR365 get the camp back in tip-top shape after a busy summer season.

• Providing much-needed supplies
o In addition to the activity kit contents, Thalhimer associates donated various books for their Pediatric Therapy and Youth Services programs.

ABOUT THALHIMER GIVES
Founded in 2018, Thalhimer Gives is a company-wide initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving in the markets we serve. Through Thalhimer Gives, our associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time, with paid time off, to local non-profit organizations.

Organizations are nominated each year by Thalhimer associates who are actively involved with a non-profit or passionate about the organization. Selection criteria include the organizations’ status as a registered 501(c)(3), their impact on the communities in which we serve, the nominating associates’ commitment to be actively involved, and the opportunities available for Thalhimer to donate financially, volunteer our time through multiple events, and provide supplies. The selection committee also focuses on selecting a diverse group of organizations. There are four charities selected each year, with one highlighted each fiscal quarter. The first week of each new quarter an informal kick-off presentation is held for associates to learn more about the charity and volunteer opportunities for the quarter. As part of the program, associates donate $5 each Friday in exchange for wearing jeans, called “Jean Fridays.” At the end of the quarter, Thalhimer matches this amount and donates the funds to the charity of that quarter.

In 2022, the 5th anniversary of Thalhimer Gives, we donated a total of $58,809, collected thousands of supplies, and associates volunteered 594 hours to local charities.
