RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Richmond associates assisted Better Housing Coalition and senior residents get their community gardens up and running for summer! Gardening is a great activity for BHC senior residents. Not only are they able to get out and exercise when tending to the garden, but they experience joy in watching things grow and thrive under their care. Many Thalhimer associates helped to provide the supplies needed for today’s event, and six volunteers filled raised garden beds with soil and planted herbs and flowers. We also cleaned up and painted several benches for the residents.
