Thalhimer Gives | Richmond Associates Continue with Improvements at Williams City Farms
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Our Richmond office continued with the revitalization efforts by volunteering through Rebuilding Together Richmond on May 22nd at Williams City Farms. During this volunteer event we completed the following projects:
- Planted seedlings
- Completion of the pergola and front entrance
- Installed more fencing around the perimeter of the farm
- Tilled planting beds
- Spread weed barrier in the garden and then covered with wood mulch
- Installed shelving in the cooling shed
- Sorted planting pots
- Trimmed overgrowth and weeds
Rebuilding Together Richmond’s mission is to strengthen communities by providing critical home repairs, accessibility upgrades, and energy efficiency improvements to low-income homeowners, as well as sprucing up community-wide support systems.
