RICHMOND, VIRGINIA:  Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with Make-A-Wish® Greater Virginia for the third quarter of 2021 through their Thalhimer Gives program, a company-wide initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving. Through Thalhimer Gives, associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time to local non-profit organizations. 
• Donating financially
   o Thalhimer associates raised $3,840 for Make-A-Wish® Greater Virginia through Friday Jeans. Friday Jeans allows Thalhimer associates to wear jeans every Friday by making a $5 donation to the Thalhimer Gives partner organization, along with a company match.
• Giving generously of their time
   o Thalhimer partnered with Make-A-Wish® Greater Virginia for volunteer opportunities and provided associates with paid time off to give back.
      –  Thalhimer associates participated in Ride For Wishes by forming teams to help raise funds for Make-A-Wish® Greater Virginia’s signature annual event. Thalhimer’s Retail Brokerage team collected $2,150 in donation dollars, and another team added to that amount with $320 in donation dollars. Several associates also took to the track and joined in on the celebration at Richmond Raceway on August 7th. 
      –  Richmond associates hand-crafted cards of encouragement for children who are currently waiting for their wishes to be granted.
• Providing much-needed supplies
   o Thalhimer associates donated various supplies needed for Make-A-Wish® Greater Virginia including hand-held games, board games art supplies, books, journals, and gift cards.
