ROANOKE, VIRGINIA:  Through Thalhimer Gives, our Roanoke associates collected $325 through Friday jeans donations for the first quarter of 2021. Thalhimer matched the amount and Wyatt Poats, who is the Chair of the Board at YMCA Express Gainsboro and Board Member of the YMCA of Virginia’s Blue Ridge, delivered the check to the YMCA for $650. Thalhimer’s gift comes at a critical time for almost all non-profit organizations. The YMCA is beginning to shoulder a larger role as the need has grown for childcare and programming for youth in response to COVID-19.
