VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: The Virginia Beach office raised $1,280 for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore during the 4th quarter of 2021 with their monthly jean’s day collection of $250 and Thalhimer’s company match. They also held their annual pancake breakfast/food drive on November 9th, donated 168 pounds of food, which equates to 140 meals, and collected an additional $680 during the food drive. Items donated included diapers, peanut butter, canned vegetables, canned soups and lunches, boxes of crackers and cookies, various cereals, mac ‘n cheese, condiments, toothbrushes, pasta, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and more. In addition, the office also volunteered at the Foodbank on November 16th, sorting non-perishable food for the organization.

Since 1981, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, a member of Feeding America™ and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks, has been providing food for people experiencing food insecurity throughout Southeastern Virginia and on the Eastern Shore.
