RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Thalhimer had the privilege of hosting The Honor Foundation, a nonprofit organization that operates a nationally recognized career transition institute serving the U.S. Special Operations Forces community. Through a rigorous executive-style curriculum that includes three months of classroom instruction, one-on-one executive coaching, industry mentoring, and access to an elite nationwide professional network, the program equips Special Operators to successfully transition from military service to civilian careers. For more than a decade, The Honor Foundation has helped translate the exceptional leadership, discipline, and problem-solving skills developed in service into strengths that add tremendous value to businesses and communities.

As part of the final phase of the program—known as the “Trek”—participants visit companies across a range of industries to explore career paths, build connections, and gain insight into how their skills apply within the private and public sectors. During their visit, several Thalhimer associates presented overviews of our commercial brokerage, capital markets, Commercial Property Services (CPS), Thalhimer Multifamily (TMF), and Thalhimer Realty Partners (TRP) service lines. The Fellows were highly engaged, asking thoughtful questions and participating in meaningful dialogue throughout the session. The networking time that followed sparked even deeper conversations and exploration of opportunities within commercial real estate.
It was truly an honor to host and engage with such an accomplished and inspiring group.
