RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, October 5, 2026 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) during the third quarter of 2026 through its Thalhimer Gives program, a companywide initiative dedicated to community involvement and charitable giving in the markets we serve.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is dedicated to ensuring that no child sleeps on the floor. Founded in 2012, the organization builds and delivers handmade beds, mattresses, pillows, and bedding to children and families in need. Guided by its mission, “No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town!” Sleep in Heavenly Peace believes that a safe, comfortable bed is essential to a child’s physical and emotional well-being.

Through Thalhimer Gives, associates engage meaningfully with their communities by contributing financially, donating essential supplies, and giving generously of their time to local nonprofit organizations.

• Financial & In-Kind Support
o Thalhimer contributed a total of $8,045.02 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace during the third quarter through associate donations, which were matched dollar-for-dollar by the company.
o In addition, associates donated essential bedding items including mattresses, sheets, comforter sets, pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals, helping ensure children received a fully furnished and comfortable place to sleep.

• Volunteer Engagement
Thalhimer associates participated in several volunteer initiatives throughout the quarter, including:
o Bed Building Days in July and August: More than 55 associates and family members, including children, worked alongside SHP volunteers to build 31 twin beds for local children in need.
o Bed Delivery Day in September: Associates partnered with SHP volunteers to deliver and assemble 14 beds for six families across the Richmond community, helping create safe and comfortable sleeping spaces for children.

“We are incredibly grateful for Thalhimer’s generosity and hands-on commitment to our mission. Their financial support, donated bedding, and volunteer efforts have already helped provide safe, comfortable beds for children in our community, ensuring more families have the resources they need to thrive. The beds made by Thalhimer volunteers are already out in the community making a difference!” said Hunter Cowan, Chapter President, Goochland County, Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

“Our partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace reflects Thalhimer’s commitment to making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve”, said Lee Warfield, CEO of Thalhimer. “Through the generosity of our associates and their families, we were able to participate in two days of bed building to help provide children with something many of us take for granted: a safe and comfortable bed to call their own.“

ABOUT THALHIMER GIVES
Founded in 2018, Thalhimer Gives is a companywide initiative dedicated to community involvement and charitable giving in the markets we serve. Guided by our mission of Giving Back Through Action, Compassion, and Care, our associates make a meaningful impact in three primary ways:

Action – Volunteering time and energy to support local non-profit organizations, with paid time off to make service possible.

Compassion – Providing essential supplies and resources to meet the immediate needs of our communities.

Care – Contributing financially to causes that matter and amplifying that support through Thalhimer’s dollar-for-dollar match each quarter.

Thalhimer Gives is at the heart of our commitment as a corporate citizen to lead the transformation of the communities where we live, work, and play.

Each year, organizations are nominated by Thalhimer associates who are actively involved with a non-profit or passionate about its mission. From these nominations, four charities are selected annually in each of our seven markets, with one featured each fiscal quarter. Associates contribute to these organizations, and at the end of the quarter, Thalhimer matches donations dollar-for-dollar, amplifying the impact for the charity of that quarter.

In 2025, we donated a total of $52,465, collected thousands of supplies, and associates volunteered 788 hours to local charities. To date, Thalhimer Gives has donated more than $395,129 to local charitable organizations, and we remain committed to growing that impact year after year.
