$7,742 in Donations Presented to the Organization
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, October 20, 2025 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with Keep Virginia Cozy during the third quarter (Q3) of 2025 through their Thalhimer Gives program, a companywide initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving.
Keep Virginia Cozy’s mission is to protect wilderness and inspire all Virginians to care for our wild places. Since 2017, Keep Virginia Cozy (KVC) has been dedicated to removing over one million tons of litter from public lands in the Richmond Metropolitan Area, preserving the rich natural legacy for current and future generations. Through zero waste community-driven efforts, KVC demonstrates that even small actions can lead to significant environmental impact.
Through Thalhimer Gives, associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time to local non-profit organizations.
• Donating financially
   – Thalhimer donated a total of $7,742.50 to Keep Virginia Cozy in Q3 through associate donations and a dollar-for-dollar company match. Thalhimer associates also donated close to $1,000 worth of items requested by KVC for their quest to keep our Commonwealth clean.
• Giving generously of their time and providing items useful to Keep Virginia Cozy
  – Richmond associates volunteered for three different beautification events at Belle Isle in Richmond, the Diamond District area, and the Manchester District near downtown Richmond, ultimately collecting more than 50 bags and 750 pounds of trash.
  – Richmond associates purchased clean-up items and tools requested by Keep Virginia Cozy including litter grabbers, gloves, traffic cones, safety vests, and other items to assist their efforts in keeping Virginia clean.
Brian Bell, Founder, Keep Virginia Cozy, comments, “This partnership has not only been another strong bond created in the community, but it will also go on to support all of our efforts moving forward. Generous donations of things like safety vests, litter pickers, and funds are the real drivers for us to be able to welcome more people, safely, into our cozy family! Thank all of y’all at Thalhimer, so much, for choosing us and keeping Virginia cozy for everyone!”
“Richmond is full of beautiful public areas and parks. Our riverfront park system is a tremendous asset that draws tourists and is a great source of recreation for locals. Keep Virginia Cozy is dedicated to helping preserve the beauty of these natural public areas through its litter removal program. Our Thalhimer associates were happy to donate money and much needed supplies and clean up items as well as spending volunteer hours removing trash around Bells Isle, the Diamond District, and Manchester. The efforts of KVC help make Richmond a great place to live work and PLAY.” Lee Warfield, CEO, Thalhimer.
About Thalhimer Gives
Founded in 2018, Thalhimer Gives is a companywide initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving in the markets we serve. Through Thalhimer Gives, our associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time, with paid time off, to local non-profit organizations. To-date, Thalhimer Gives has donated more than $301,446 to local charitable organizations.
Organizations are nominated each year by Thalhimer associates who are actively involved with a non-profit or passionate about the organization. Selection criteria include the organizations’ status as a registered 501(c)(3), their impact on the communities in which we serve, and the opportunities available for Thalhimer to donate financially, volunteer our time through multiple events, and provide supplies. The selection committee also focuses on selecting a diverse group of organizations. Four charities are selected each year, with one highlighted each fiscal quarter. As part of the program, associates donate to each organization and at the end of the quarter, Thalhimer matches this amount and donates the funds to the charity.
In 2024, we donated a total of $63,881, collected thousands of supplies, and associates volunteered 614 hours to local charities.
