VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Thalhimer’s Virginia Beach office raised $543 for their Q1 Thalhimer Gives partner, Operation Smile. With the company match, a total of $1,086 was presented to the organization—enough to fund four life-changing cleft lip and cleft palate repair surgeries.

In addition to fundraising efforts, Thalhimer associates volunteered with Operation Smile at the Shamrock Final Mile on March 21. More than 5,000 elementary students from across Hampton Roads participated in the race at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Volunteers assisted at the starting line, helping keep the excited runners in place until the race began—and successfully survived the enthusiastic dash when the horn sounded!
