NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIA:  Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to have represented Municipal Partners, LLC in the sale of Compass Pointe, a 98,506 square foot Class A office building located on the corner of Oyster Point Road and Canon Boulevard in Newport News, Virginia. 
   The property was purchased by BayPort Credit Union. BayPort Credit Union plans to relocate their corporate office to this location, as well as open a full-service branch with drive-thru lanes and ATM. BayPort will occupy approximately 20% of the building as an owner/occupant.  Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Newport News office occupies a suite on the first floor, and has retained the exclusive leasing and management assignment for the office building.
