Management Awarded for 318,000 SF Portfolio

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer has been selected by Berman Kappler Properties, LLC to provide property management services for a three-property portfolio in the Richmond Metropolitan Area.
Colonial Square Shopping Center is a 175,000 square foot retail center located at 3107 Boulevard in Colonial Heights, Virginia. The center is soon-to-be-anchored by Publix Supermarkets upon completion of store renovations that  are planned to be completed by this September.
Centralia Crossing Shopping Center is a 48,000 square foot retail center located at 9801 Chester Road in Chester, Virginia.  The center is anchored by Food Lion. Berman Kappler has plans to expand the center for a total of 100,000 square feet by developing the adjoining eight acres of land it owns. Jerad Nielsen, CPM of Thalhimer’s Richmond office is the portfolio manager for both retail centers.
The Bookbindery Building, originally constructed in 1900, is a first-class, renovated 60,000 square foot office building with a 35,000 square foot, 170 car parking garage. The.building is located in the heart of Richmond’s Museum and Fan District at 2201 West Broad Street. Mark E. Douglas, CCIM, SIOR of Thalhimer’s Richmond office is the exclusive leasing representative, and Jerad Nielsen, CPM is the portfolio manager.
