WINCHESTER, VIRGINIA: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Capital Markets Group has represented the seller in the disposition of Sunnyside Plaza Shopping Center located at 269 Sunnyside Plaza Circle in Winchester, VA. 
The 67,208 square foot retail center was formerly anchored by Shop N’ Save, who left the market in 2018, and was 12% leased to five small shop, short term tenants at the time of the sale. The County of Frederick, Virginia acquired the asset on August 26, 2019 for $2,000,000 in order to relocate their current municipal offices.  
The sale was completed by Catharine Spangler in Thalhimer’s Richmond office with assistance from Virgil Nelson, CCIM, Sharon E. Schmidt and Joby Saliceti with Thalhimer’s Fredericksburg, Virginia office.
