HIGH POINT, NORTH CAROLINA: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Capital Markets Group is pleased to have represented Sabal Financial in the sale of Commerce and Design (C&D) Building, a nine-story, 257,180 square foot elite furniture showroom building at 201 West Commerce Avenue in High Point, North Carolina. This 99% leased building enjoys a prime location in the heart of the “Furniture Capital of the World”, and features navigable floor plates, bi-directional escalators from top to bottom, and an attractive vertical glass atrium. The High Point Furniture Market, the largest furniture market in the world, plays host to over 80,000 visitors per market and encompasses more than 11.5 million square feet of furniture showroom space in 180 buildings.
The property was purchased by International Market Center, and the sale was completed by Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Capital Markets team consisting of Bill Simerville, Scot Humphrey, Justin Good and Chris Norvell, SIOR.
