RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, August 23, 2016 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce two new members to its Richmond office. Kevin South joins Thalhimer as vice president, with more than 15 years of experience in retail brokerage and development. Kevin, formerly with CBRE, has worked closely with institutional and regional property owners to create and execute leasing strategies for an array of retail properties including power centers, grocery-anchored and mixed-use properties. Kevin also provides site selection and consulting services to national retailers such as Publix. Kevin joins Thalhimer Realty Partners (TRP) to help grow their portfolio in the retail sector. His retail brokerage, development and acquisition experience will be an asset in his TRP role. He is a member of ICSC, as well as the Midlothian Rotary.  Kevin attended James Madison University on a full golf scholarship, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science/Public Administration.
David Crawford joins Thalhimer’s Retail Services Group as vice president. David comes to Thalhimer from CBRE and is a seasoned retail sales and leasing specialist with more than 19 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. David’s focus is on retail site selection, land sales, and landlord and tenant representation. David was instrumental in assisting Publix Supermarkets’ entry into the Central Virginia market, as well as advising Cobb Theaters/Cinebistro with several locations in the region. Other key clients include: Excel Property Trust, Slate Properties, Principal Real Estate Investors, Invesco Realty Advisors, and RIOCAN. David is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE), and the Chesterfield Business Council, where he is Cabinet Member and Chairman of Government Relations Committee. Crawford is a graduate of the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
