RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to have represented River Road Shopping Center Inc. in fully leasing the retail space at the River Road Shopping Center in Richmond, Virginia. The luxury retail center, with its strategic location at the corner of River Road and Huguenot Road, features a lifestyle tenant mix of approximately 65,910 square feet of boutiques, shops and dining.   
Most recently, The Orvis Company leased 6,988 square feet, and will move their store to River Road Shopping Center from Short Pump Town Center. Yves Delorme leased a 1,300 square foot space and will relocate from Stony Point Fashion Park. Both tenants will be located at the prime corner of the center, formerly occupied by Coplon’s.
Allyson P. Wiggins and Pamela H. Strieffler of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the lease negotiations on behalf of the Landlord. Allyson Wiggins noted, “Thalhimer worked closely with ownership to focus on finding tenants to complement the existing mix of high-end merchants in the center. We implemented a creative and concise strategy to procure retailers who fit River Road’s affluent, high income demographics.” Meade A.
