RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is excited to announce Planet Fitness has leased 17,476 square feet at Stony Point Village, 3000-3096 Stony Point Road, in Richmond, Virginia, and slated to open this winter.

Planet Fitness  is one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers in the United States by number of members and locations. As of June 30, 2022, Planet Fitness had 16.5 million members and 2,324 stores in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada, Panama, Mexico and Australia. This will be their 5th location in the Richmond Metropolitan Area.

The brand-new Planet Fitness location will feature state of the art cardio machines and strength equipment, a 30-Minute Express Circuit, rowing machines, fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, HydroMassage loungers, massage chairs*, tanning booths, Total Body Enhancement booths, and more. 

Stony Point Village is a 114,422 square foot neighborhood center in the Bon Air area of Richmond at the intersection of heavily traveled Huguenot Road. Major tenants include Trader Joe’s, Good Foods Grocery, Gelati Celesti, and Einstein Bros. Bagels.
