Allaire, SIOR, Senior Vice President of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer was named the 2013 Commercial Realtor of the Year at the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtor’s Annual Frontier Awards event held this morning, March 7, 2014. This is the highest honor given by the Association and indicates the recipient has the highest principles and dedication to the Code of Ethics of the Association. The recipient must also have served the association, have business accomplishments in the industry that exhibit high standards, service to clients, and creativity in marketing properties. The event was held at Carolina Country Club.

TCAR is the second largest commercial overlay board in North Carolina with 600 members and is accredited through the REALTORS® Commercial Alliance.  TCAR currently serves a 14 county area, including the Triangle, for real estate practitioners, appraisers, property managers, and other professionals allied with the real estate industry.

Jim Allaire joined Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer in December 2011 as Senior Vice President and is a principal member of the Raleigh Land and Industrial Services Group specializing in the sale and leasing of industrial and high-tech facilities throughout the Research Triangle region. He brings over 25 years of experience to the team and is consistently among the top performers within the market. Over the past 10 years, Jim has participated in the sale of over 100 premier office and industrial facilities totaling over 20 million square feet and $1 billion in value.  Jim has consistently been one of the top land brokers in the market and has represented Purdue Pharma, Becton Dickinson, Northwood Ravin, Fairfield, and Woodfield Partners, among others, on multiple land acquisition assignments, including the $11 million High House and Davis Drive site, and the 100-acre Alston Town Center site in Cary, North Carolina. Most recently Jim represented Novare on their acquisition of a site in Downtown Raleigh for the 23-story Skyhouse apartment project and Rooms to Go in their acquisition of a 100-acre site along I-95 for a 1.2 million square foot distribution center.
