RICHMOND, VIRGINIA:  Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to have represented Nuckols Place VFI, L.C. in the purchase of approximately 15 acres of land located at Nuckols and Twin Hickory Roads in Glen Allen (Henrico County), VA for the development of an approximately 90,000 square feet high-end retail shopping center to be known as NuckolsPlace. The seller was Ukrop’s Super Markets, Inc.; sale price was $8,100,000.  
   Construction of the new center is scheduled to begin in August 2015, with completion of the first phase slated for Spring 2016. Nuckols Place VFI, L.C., in partnership with The Peterson Companies and Virginia Financial Investors, has selected Thalhimer to exclusively represent the leasing efforts for the new center. The location is strategic to Innsbrook Office Park, the Wyndham Office district, Twin Hickory and Wyndham neighborhoods and enjoys access to I-295 and I-64.  The developers were attracted to the site by the daytime density, combined with incomes of nearly $150,000, and a college education nearing 70%, making this The Peterson Companies’ first foray into the Richmond market.  The Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer team will consist of exclusive retail leasing representatives Connie Jordan Nielsen and Alicia Farrell.
