RICHMOND, VIRGINIA:  Thalhimer Realty Partners Inc., the investment and development subsidiary of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, is pleased to announce the recent purchase of the Cornish Brewery and Kinney Street Apartments, totaling 49 units in the heart of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Monroe Park Campus.  The total purchase price was $4,625,000. Mac Wilson of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer represented TRP in the transaction. Upon its acquisition, TRP has engaged Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Student Housing Management Group to manage the properties.
   The Cornish Brewery was constructed in 1891 and underwent a conversion from warehouse condition into 37 apartment units in 2005. The Kinney Street Apartments consists of 12 units that were constructed in 1925 and later renovated in 2003. The properties consist of one and two bedroom units featuring loft and garden style floor plans.
