RICHMOND, VA:  Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer has been awarded the Blackwood Development Company retail portfolio of approximately two million square feet of existing and planned retail centers that include developments such as Gleneagles Shopping Center, Pouncey Place, Harper’s Mill, Promenade Shops, Midlothian Town Center, Southshore Shops, and NorthCross Center. 
     Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer also announces the addition of Allyson Petty as Senior Associate in their Retail Services Group in the Richmond office.  Allyson most recently managed the leasing and marketing of Blackwood Development Company’s retail portfolio and specializes in providing comprehensive real estate services to include shopping center leasing, site selection, and retail property sales.  She has consistently been recognized in the industry as a leading producer.  Allyson was also a senior associate at Grubb & Ellis|Harrison & Bates, and a retail associate with The Shopping Center Group.  She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and is the Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors for the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE).  Allyson is a graduate of James Madison University.
