Thalhimer Announces Commercial Brokerage Promotions
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, January 27, 2026 – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce the promotion of several outstanding professionals in commercial brokerage in recognition of their leadership, expertise, and significant contributions to the firm and its clients.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT:
Brian K. Berkey has been promoted to executive vice president. Mr. Berkey specializes in Office Tenant Representation and Corporate Services and leads the Tenant Advisory Group for Thalhimer’s Richmond office. Recognized as one of the region’s leading tenant representation advisors, he has successfully navigated many of the market’s most notable and complex transactions. In the industry since 2007, Mr. Berkey averages approximately 85 transactions annually.
Bruce Bigger has been promoted to executive vice president. Mr. Bigger joined Thalhimer in 2006 and focuses on Corporate Services and Retail Tenant Representation. He currently assists a national retailer across multiple markets nationwide and also represents other national retailers with site selection efforts throughout Virginia.
Connie Jordan Nielsen has been promoted to executive vice president. Ms. Nielsen is a 36-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry and has made a lasting impact on Virginia’s retail landscape. Based in Richmond, she works with clients throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and has produced more than $500M in transaction volume over the last 10 years. Ms. Nielsen has been instrumental in rollout and expansion for retailers including TJX Companies, Academy Sports & Outdoors, CAVA, Panera Bread, Ulta, Shake Shack, Panda Express, Chipotle, Popeyes, and European Wax Center. She has also worked extensively with landlords and developers such as Rebkee, Heitman, Apple Retail, Kimco, Peterson Companies, MCB, Sauer Properties, and Pratt Street to bring new developments to life and retailers to their projects, including first-to-market locations for Publix, Whole Foods and Wegmans.
John Pritzlaff has been promoted to executive vice president. Based in Thalhimer’s Charlottesville office, Mr. Pritzlaff specializes in land, office, and retail properties, with a focus on both landlord and tenant representation. He is known for his analytical approach and superior client service and has experience across the Charlottesville, Richmond, Central, and Western Virginia markets.
Graham Stoneburner, SIOR has been promoted to executive vice president. Mr. Stoneburner leads Thalhimer’s Richmond Industrial Brokerage Team, focusing on industrial sales and leasing for landlords, developers, and tenants locally and nationally. He is recognized for his in-depth market analysis and commitment to delivering successful lease and sale negotiations.
Rett Turner, CCIM, SIOR has been promoted to executive vice president. Based in Thalhimer’s Richmond office, Mr. Turner specializes in Corporate Portfolio Services and Tenant Representation, assisting organizations of all sizes with managing global real estate portfolios and requirements. He has more than 22 years of experience in corporate real estate.
VICE PRESIDENT:
Wyatt Poats has been promoted to vice president. Mr. Poats joined Thalhimer in 2018 as a sales and leasing associate in retail services. He focuses primarily on the Western and Southside Virginia markets and has worked with a broad range of national, regional, and local clients. His experience includes landlord and tenant representation, buyer and seller representation, and site selection.
